| Bio: | A recent fortune: "Education is a process of living, not a preparation for future living." My current education: "existential confrontation rather than ... consolation" The rest: Born in Tallahassee, migrated by way of California to a small Georgia town, really a suburb of Chattanooga, TN. I left to pursue a liberal arts education, and my major was English, with a focus in creative writing, and poetry as my particular specialty. I had written poems from age 6 on, discovered in high school that I had a talent for it, and then in college hijacked the creative outlet as a vehicle for self-exploration. Upon graduation from Mercer University in 2002, I decided to ride out my stint as a bartender into restaurant management. Ninety-nine percent of the world views restaurant management as difficult, unrewarding and basically a job for losers, but I find it easy and fun work for which I am well paid, and have been introduced to some really amazing leaders in the last three years. Beyond that, I also aim to retire by age 42 to pursue interests that primarily include travel (especially to sacred sites around the world) and publishing my poems as well as the work of others. Although I was married for five years, I have no children. I recently became a resident of that lovely but mad lady Blanche of the south, Atlanta. My core is comprised of an indefatigable work ethic, a forward-looking perspective, a compassionate and empathetic nature, and an equilibrium rooted in creativity and intelligence. Namaste | |||||
